The STV Studios family of production labels has received six nominations at the Broadcast Awards 2025, including three in the same category.

The industry magazine's annual awards ceremony takes place on 5 February at London's JW Marriott Grosvenor House.

Leading the nominations for STV Studios is subversive reality series, The Underdog: Josh Must Win, which is produced by Primal Media and launched on E4 earlier this year. The show - which won Best Reality Format at the C21 International Format Awards in October and is also being developed in the US with NBCUniversal - has been nominated in both the Best Multichannel Programme and Best Original Programme categories.

The latter category also features nominations for two other STV Studios shows: Joe Lycett vs Sewage, produced by Rumpus Media (alongside My Options Were Limited) for Channel 4, and The Assembly, produced by Rockerdale Studios for the BBC.

Elsewhere, Flicker Productions' The Flight Attendant Murders has been nominated for the International Programme Sales award, while critically-acclaimed police drama, Blue Lights, has been nominated in the Best Drama Series or Serial category. The series is produced in Belfast by STV Studios label, Two Cities Television, for BBC One.
